 World’s Youngest Reigning Monarch , King Oyo, Dies at 34 King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the traditional ruler of Uganda’s Tooro Kingdom who became the world’s youngest reigning monarch after ascending the throne at three, has died at the age of 34. The monarch reportedly died on Thursday, with the Prime Minister of the Tooro Kingdom, Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki, announcing his death on Friday. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed. However, Ugandan media reports quoted a government minister as saying that King Oyo had been critically ill and was receiving medical treatment in the United States. Reacting to the development, Akiiki described the monarch’s death as a major loss to the royal family and the people of Tooro. He urged members of the kingdom to remain united and calm while mourning the traditional ruler. COURT CONVICTS MAN FOR CURRENCY COUNTERFEITING.{PHOTO}.

      The Makurdi zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on February 11, 2020 secured the conviction of one Otene Olafikwu before Justice Mobolaji Olajuwon of the Federal High Court sitting in Makurdi, Benue State, on a two-count charge bordering on currency counterfeiting. .

The convict was arrested alongside John Garba Aondohemba, Simon Atsen Gbagir and Janet Tyondugh for possessing and altering two counterfeit $50 bills. They were subsequently arraigned on February 6, 2020.
