  Nigerian Police Officer In Kaduna Threatens Reprisal Attack On Southerners In North Over Edo Killings A police officer from Kaduna State, Hadaina Hussaini Dan-Taki, has threatening reprisal attacks on southerners living in northern Nigeria. Dan-Taki's comment came in response to the killing of 16 northerners in Uromi, Edo State. Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Dan-Taki, through a Facebook post, swore in the name of God, declaring that northerners in the north must take action against southerners.  He further warned that southerners had forgotten that their families were living in the north, vowing that "within one week, the southerners shall see the result."    The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos Zonal office, on Friday, February 28, 2020 arraigned one Ngozi Philomena Okoye and her company, Menoil Oil and Gas Limited before Justice Mojisola Dada of the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos State on a two-count charge bordering on obtaining goods by false pretence and stealing to the tune of N349, 000, 000. 00 (Three Hundred and Forty Nine Million Naira) belonging to one Frank Karkitie, Director of Enegas Power Limited.

The defendant allegedly purchased two million litres of Automative Gas Oil, AGO on credit from the victim (Frank Karkitie) using her company and promised to pay for the products after being sold. .

Investigations revealed that the defendant refused to pay for the products even when the products had been sold by the defendant.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
