 Israel Executed 15 Paramedics And Buried Them In A Mass Grave On Monday, Palestinians conducted funerals for 15 medics and emergency responders who were killed by Israeli forces in southern Gaza. Their bodies, along with damaged ambulances, were discovered in a makeshift mass grave that appeared to have been covered by Israeli military bulldozers. The Palestinian Red Crescent stated that the deceased workers and their vehicles were clearly identified as medical and humanitarian personnel, accusing Israeli troops of executing them "in cold blood." Among the deceased were eight Red Crescent workers, six members of Gaza's Civil Defense emergency unit, and a staff member from UNRWA, the United Nations agency for Palestinians. The International Red Cross/Red Crescent reported that this incident marked the deadliest attack on its personnel in eight years.       Professor Aduku Armstrong Augustine Idachaba, Director, Broadcast Policy and Research, has been appointed to oversee the office of the Director General of the National Broadcasting Commission. This appointment followed the suspension of Mallam Isā€™haq Modibbo Kawu.
In a letter dated February 14, 2020, and signed by Deaconess Grace Isu Gekpe, the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Information and Culture, Prof. Idachaba, as the most senior Director in the National Broadcasting Commission, is to oversee the affairs of the Commission.
