 FRSC, Anambra Govt Strengthen Partnership on Grassroots Road Safety Awareness By Chisom Okpala The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the Anambra State Government have renewed their commitment to strengthening grassroots road safety awareness and reducing road traffic crashes across the state. The commitment was made when the Sector Commander of the FRSC in Anambra, Corps Commander Bridget Asakhauno, paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner for Local Government and Community Affairs, Barr. Vin Ifeanyi Ezeaka, in his office on Aug. 26. The meeting provided an opportunity for both institutions to explore areas of collaboration, particularly in promoting community based road safety initiatives through local government authorities and grassroots communities. Discussions focused on intensifying public enlightenment on safe driving practices, compliance with traffic regulations, responsible road use and pedestrian safety.     Members of the NYSC Batch "A" have expressed appreciation to the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for his role in providing a conducive environment for their year-long service.
The corps members, who visited the Governor in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta after their Passing Out Parade (POP) yesterday, were in company with the State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps, Dr Belinda Faniyi and other top officials of the Corps in the State.
The corps members thanked Governor Abiodun for the genuine love he showed both the Corps and its members during their one-year service, particularly as he saw to improving the living conditions of the NYSC Camp in the State.
Earlier, the State had officially commended the two corps members for their selfless contributions to community development.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
