Netflix cancels Boots after one season Netflix has decided not to move forward with a second season of Boots, the military coming-of-age comedy-drama and the final project from legendary producer Norman Lear. The cancellation comes more than two months after the eight-episode first season debuted on the streaming platform. Despite strong critical reception—earning a 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes from both critics and viewers—and respectable viewership numbers, Netflix opted not to continue the series. The show had internal support, and discussions between Netflix and studio Sony Pictures Television examined long-term audience engagement before the decision. Sony had even extended contracts in August for key cast members, including Miles Heizer, Liam Oh, Kieron Moore, Dominic Goodman, Angus O’Brien, Blake Burt, and Rico Paris, in hopes of securing a second season. COVID-19: EKITI GOVT SETS UP 40-PERSON TASKFORCE TO SCREEN PASSENGERS FROM ALL MAJOR MOTOR PARKS LEADING INTO EKITI.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

    The Government of Ekiti State is setting up essential infrastructure and resources to screen Ekiti bound passengers from all major motor parks leading into Ekiti State and at the land borders. ‬
‪A 40-person Taskforce on ‬CODIV-19 that was recently constituted by Governor Kayode Fayemi will also work closely with the leadership of the Road Transport Network — NURTW to maintain passenger manifests for fast traceability if the need arises. ‪‬
The Government of Ekiti State has also reactivated its response and surveillance team for the prevention of the deadly viral infection. The epidemic surveillance officers have swung into action by moving into rural communities for coordinated patrol and extensive sensitisation. ‪‬
The Government of Ekiti State has set up a 24/7 Emergency Operation Centre to coordinate its response to the virus. Dedicated hotlines have been made available to the public to call if they suspect infection. The National Emergency Number 112 is also active in Ekiti State.
‪As of today, there is no case of Coronavirus in Ekiti State.More photos below.
