Her groundbreaking research focused on developing stair-climbing algorithms for underactuated robots, contributing to advancements in robotic mobility and control.  She has also been recognized for her mentorship and advocacy for underrepresented groups in engineering.  A true trailblazer, her achievement marks a historic milestone and sets the stage for greater inclusion in the field of robotics.

PDP Congratulates Gov. Matawalle, Zamfara People Over S/Court Judgment
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has congratulated Zamfara State Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle as well as the people of Zamfara state over the upholding of his mandate by the Supreme Court on Friday.
The party said the judgment of the Supreme Court has reaffirmed the will of Allah that he will lead the people of Zamfara.
The PDP therefore urged Governor Matawalle to continue in his already manifest efforts in stabilizing and repositioning the state for higher productivity, peaceful coexistence and massive human and infrastructural development in line with the manifesto of the PDP and the visions of our founding fathers.
The party charged the governor to note that the people of Zamfara state repose immense confidence in him and the PDP and as such he must not spare any effort in delivering on his mandate in keeping with the guiding principles of the PDP.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
