  Oyo Governor Makinde Imposes Overnight Motorcycle Ban to Combat Insecurity, Abductions Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has issued a stringent Executive Order restricting motorcycle operations across the state between 10:30 pm and 5:30 am daily. The decisive measure, announced on Friday, is a direct response to escalating insecurity, particularly following the recent abductions of school children and teachers. Governor Makinde emphasized that the state government remains relentless in its efforts to secure the safe return of all kidnapped victims. He conveyed the deep pain and anxiety felt by their families and the entire state each day the captives remain in detention. PIPELINE EXPLOSION ROCKED ABULE ADO TODAY CRASHING MANY HOUSES.{PHOTOS}.

        A suspected pipeline explosion rocked Abule Ado close to Festac area of Lagos State on Sunday morning, leaving many houses and vehicles destroyed.
it was learnt that the explosion brought down the roofs of buildings causing panic which resulted to residents scampering to safety.
The number of casualties and damaged properties could not be ascertained as at press time as as men of the federal fire service had mobilised to the scene.According to another source '' A big pipeline explosion that shook several houses rocked Abule Ado area of Ojo, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria on Sunday morning.
Thick smokes and balls of fire enveloped the atmosphere as panic struck residents who scampered to safety.
The explosion reverberated and shook houses several miles away.
Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA’s spokesman, Nosa Okunbor said the explosion might be from the pipeline.
“LASEMA Team Heading to Abule Ado, Trade Fair axis for investigation of alleged pipeline explosion. Awaiting details and preliminary reports,” he said''.More photos below.
