 PRESS RELEASE OPERATION HADIN KAI FOILS MASS ABDUCTION ATTEMPT AT FGGC MONGUNO Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), in collaboration with personnel of the Nigeria Police Mobile Force (MOPOL), successfully foiled an attempted mass abduction by ISWAP terrorists at the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Monguno, at about 0130 hours (1:30 a.m.) on 19 July 2026. The FGGC facility is currently being utilized by the Borno State Government as temporary hostel accommodation for students of the Federal Polytechnic, Monguno. The terrorists reportedly gained access to the facility with the assistance of suspected collaborators in an attempt to abduct students. SUPER EAGLES STRIKER 'IFEANYI GEORGE' DIES IN A FATAL ACCIDENT TODAY.{PHOTOS}.

      Rangers FC striker, Ifeanyi George has been confirmed dead after he was killed in a car crash on Sunday morning.
The 26-year-old former Enyimba star was travelling from Enugu to Lagos with two unidentified teammates when they ran into a heavy-duty truck along Benin-Ore road, with none of them surviving the ghastly accident.

It was also revealed that the trio embarked on the journey after their club gave them a break following the postponement of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) 2019/20 season due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Rangers team manager, Amobi Ezeaku confirmed the sad news to TheCable, saying: “It is a black Sunday in Nigerian football and sad to say the least.”
“Yes, its true that Ifeanyi George died on the spot but will confirm others to you as I am on my way to the scene of the accident,” he said.

Sad news for Nigerian football as Super Eagles striker dies in a fatal accident
It was yet another black Sunday for Nigerian football as they lost Super Eagles striker Ifeanyi George in a fatal accident. The Enugu Rangers forward was reportedly travelling with two other players who are currently in critical condition.
The striker was reportedly was on his way to Lagos from Enugu this morning. He died at a very young age of 26.
Ifeanyi George was born on the 22nd of November 1993 is a Nigerian international footballer who made his debut for the Super Eagles in 2017. He don the country's jersey twice but failed to find the back of net.
He previously played for Nigeria Professional Football League side Enyimba in 2015 before moving to Enugu Rangers a year later and he has spent four seasons with Rangers.
