 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. Installation of Bishop Peter Ebere Okpaleke of The newly created ...        Bishop Peter Okpalake who was rejected by Mbaise People will today be installed as the Catholic Bishop of Ekwulobia Catholic diocese in Anambra State.
Let's take a flashback:
Bishop Peter Okpalake if you recall was the Catholic bishop- elect for Mbaise diocese in Imo state till about two years ago when he was removed. His life was made unbearable by the people of Mbaise. He was insulted on several occasions and made not to officiate mass during his reign by the locals in Mbaise. The Mbaise locals took all forms of violent approach to make life unbearable for Okpalake. The Mbaise locals wanted their own person as Bishop instead of an outsider from Anambra.
The information got to Vatican. Okpalake had to resign for peace to reign in Ahiara.
Today, Okpalake was officially installed as Bishop of a bigger New Diocese Ekwulobia..One more photo below.
