 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. COVID-19: 15 CHINESE DOCTORS ARRIVED NIGERIA TODAY DESPITE PROTEST FROM NIGERIAN DOCTORS.{PHOTOS}.

    15 Chinese doctors have arrived Nigeria to help in the fight against Coronavirus. The doctors arrived the country in an Air Peace flight.
Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr Zhou Pingjian; Executive Director, China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation, Mr Jacques Liao as well as senior officials of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Health received the doctors who arrived Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport by 5:15pm today April 8.
This is coming after the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) rejected plans by the Federal Government to invite the Chinese medical team to help Nigeria in her fight against the deadly Coronavirus.
NMA President, Dr Francis Faduyile had described the move as a "misplaced priority and a thing of embarrassment to the membership of the Association and other health workers, who are giving their best in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic under deplorable working conditions.".More photos below.
