 Eedris Abdulkareem Clarifies New Song Not an Attack on Seyi Tinubu, Faces NBC Ban Nigerian singer and rapper Eedris Abdulkareem has clarified that his new song, Tell Your Papa, is not an attack on Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, but a response to Seyiā€™s claim that his father is Nigeriaā€™s greatest president. Seyi made the statement in March 2025 during an event in Yola, Adamawa State. Speaking on Sunday, Abdulkareem emphasized that the song urges Seyi to encourage his father to address Nigeriaā€™s pressing issues, including electricity, security, and job creation. ā€œNigerian youths are asking for basics, not palliatives,ā€ he said, adding, ā€œI was inspired by Seyiā€™s video. If he had stayed silent, I wouldnā€™t have recorded the song.ā€ The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) swiftly banned "Tell Your Papa" from radio and television, labeling it inappropriate.       The Ministry of Defence, contractors and #NHSEngland have been working to build the new Nightingale Hospital at Londonā€™s ExCel Centre, which will begin treating coronavirus patients this week.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha.
