 NIGERIAN ARMY DID NOT  CONFISCATE PROPERTY OF ENUGU RESIDENT, IT RIGHTFULLY BELONGS TO THE NA The Nigerian Army (NA) has been notified of a viral petition written by the Civil Rights Realisation and Advancement Network (CRRAN) alleging that 82 Division of the NA is threatening to forcefully and unlawfully take over a property situated at Plot 30, Abakaliki Road, Enugu, which includes No. 7 Abakaliki Lane in the Government Residential Area (GRA) of Enugu State.  The NA wishes to state that the  petition, which  also posits that 82 Division, in defiance to a letter from the Office of the Chief of Army Staff decided to take the law into its hand and supplant the rule of law, is completely unfounded and intended to tarnish the ongoing efforts of the NA to restore peace and tranquility in the South East Region.  It is therefore necessary to set the record straight  in order not to mislead the public. COVID-19: MASQUERADES ARRESTED IN ANAMBRA FOR DEFYING STAY-AT-HOME ORDER.{PHOTOS}.

    Some Masquerades have been arrested in Anambra State for defying a stay-at-home order issued by the the state government, over the outbreak of Coronavirus in the country.
The Anambra State Government had ordered a restriction on movement and closure of markets in the state for 14 days.
The Masquerades who flouted the order were arrested yesterday at Nkwo Uga, in Uga community of Aguata Local Government Area.More photos below.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
