 Oko Poly AgricTech Lecturers Commend Rector Over Good Leadership  By Obianuju Azukaego  The Lecturers of Agricultural Technology Department, Federal Polytechnic Oko, have commended the Rector of the institution, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie, for her exemplary leadership and ongoing developmental strides in the school. The Head of the Department, Dr. Jane Mmaduka said this when she led her delegation to pay a courtesy visit to the Rector on July 31. She expressed gratitude to the Rector for her unwavering support, particularly her role in the successful accreditation of the department's National Diploma (ND) programme. She also briefed the Rector on preparations for the forthcoming resource inspection of the Higher National Diploma (HND) programme and appealed for the continued support of the Polytechnic Management to ensure a successful exercise. COVID-19 UPDATE: 10 PATIENTS DISCHARGED FROM LAGOS ISOLATION CENTRE.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

    My dear Lagosians,
I am happy to inform you that 10 more COVID19 patients; 3 females and 7 males including 3 foreign nationals, 2 Indians and 1 Filipino have been discharged from our isolation facilities at Yaba and Onikan to reunite with the society.
The patients, 3 from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba and 7 from Onikan Isolation Centre were discharged today having fully recovered and tested negative for COVID19 in two consecutive test readings.
With this, the total number of cases successfully managed and discharged from our isolation facilities has risen to 117.
What this shows is that as the number of confirmed cases rise, we are also maintaining a significant discharge rate of our active cases which unequivocally shows that our medical interventions and management of the cases are working.
While I am encouraged by the support we have received so far from the good citizens of the State in the battle against COVID19, I urge you all not to relent, keep faith with us trusting that this war is a must win!
Remember to practie hand hyiene, join our #MaskUpLagos campaign by using a facemask especially when outdoor and do not forget to observe strictly the Social Distancing principle.
