 Zango Kataf, Jaba PDP Committees Hold Reconciliation Meeting Ahead Of 2027 Elections The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Working Committees in Zango Kataf and Jaba Local Government Areas have held a strategic reconciliation meeting aimed at strengthening party unity and positioning the party for success in the 2027 general elections. The meeting, held on Friday, July 31, 2026, in Jaba Local Government Area, was jointly chaired by the PDP Chairmen of Jaba and Zango Kataf LGAs, Sabastine David Bijiri and Martins Markus Koyah. It brought together party executives, stakeholders, ward officials, elders, youth and women leaders, as well as members from both local government areas. Speaking at the meeting, the Zango Kataf PDP Chairman commended party leaders and members for supporting the zoning of the party’s House of Representatives ticket to Zango Kataf Local Government Area. ENFORCEMENT OF TOTAL LOCKDOWN ORDER AS A PRECAUTION TO CURB THE SPREAD OF COVID-19 VIRUS IN ANAMBRA STATE.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

     The Anambra State Police Command wishes to inform the general public that the Command in compliance with the directives of the Anambra State Government in order to contain the spread of COVID-19 has commenced total enforcement of lockdown order in the State with immediate effect.
In view of this,the public are kindly requested to stay at home. No movement, no local transportation. The index case has been in the State since march 28th and has socialized extensively. This extreme restriction became necessary in order to identify and isolate primary and secondary contacts as well as ensure no further spread as the contact tracing is ongoing.
The public is to note that the Police and all security Agencies in the State are geared to enforce this order to the letter in observance of overriding public health interest.
Meanwhile,the Public are urged to utilise the following phone numbers in case of any emergency and to report observed breaches of the lockdown order or other security needs accordingly.
