 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. ENFORCEMENT OF TOTAL LOCKDOWN ORDER AS A PRECAUTION TO CURB THE SPREAD OF COVID-19 VIRUS IN ANAMBRA STATE.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

     The Anambra State Police Command wishes to inform the general public that the Command in compliance with the directives of the Anambra State Government in order to contain the spread of COVID-19 has commenced total enforcement of lockdown order in the State with immediate effect.
In view of this,the public are kindly requested to stay at home. No movement, no local transportation. The index case has been in the State since march 28th and has socialized extensively. This extreme restriction became necessary in order to identify and isolate primary and secondary contacts as well as ensure no further spread as the contact tracing is ongoing.
The public is to note that the Police and all security Agencies in the State are geared to enforce this order to the letter in observance of overriding public health interest.
Meanwhile,the Public are urged to utilise the following phone numbers in case of any emergency and to report observed breaches of the lockdown order or other security needs accordingly.
