Chukwuma Christopher Okpalauzuegbu, the councillor representating Amesi Ward. Hon. Okpalauzuegbu fondly known as Chuma, had been preparing to celebrate his wedding ceremony, an event filled with hope, promise and carefully laid plans. Loved ones, and sponsors, ready to stand beside him as he embark on a new chapter of life. In an unexpected and heart breaking turn of events, those dreams were cut short.     The Special Adviser to the Governor of Nasarawa State on Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Community Development Mr. John Waje Mamman, has been kidnapped last night.
Mr Mamman was kidnnaped precisely around 8pm on Saturday in his house at Dari, in kokona Local Government Area of the state.
A source who spoke to our correspondent on condition of anonymity said Mamman along side his associates in the community were said to be relaxing in his compound as a result of unfriendly weather, when kidnappers invaded his house and whisked him away.
According to him, the kidnappers surrounded his house and started shootting sporadically which made Mamman and his friends scampared for safety.
The source however said luck ran out against one of the suspected kidnappers as he was napped by some members of the community.
No communication has been made between the suspected kidnappers and Mamman relations since yesterday.Details later......
