 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. TOURIST BOAT OPERATORS GET LASG RELIEF PACKAGE.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

    The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Thursday, donated some relief packages to the Association of Tourist Boat Operators and Water Transporters of Nigeria (ATBOWATON), Lagos State Chapter.
The food items were presented to the Association through the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA), the regulatory body for water transportation in the State.
The gesture according to the General Manager of LASWA, Mr. Damilola Emmanuel, was in continuation of the State Government's efforts to cushion the effects of the lockdown on different clusters of individuals and groups across Lagos metropolis.
He expressed the Governor's concern about the effect of the stay-at-home order on the businesses of members of the Association who are largely daily income earners.
"This gesture is to assist members of (ATBOWATON) and their families cope with the effects of COVID-19 pandemic lockdown on their businesses", the General Manager said.Responding, the National President of the Association, Mr. Gani Tarzan Balogun, who also donated cartons of sanitisers to the members to support the State government's gesture, expressed the profound appreciation of all members of the association to Lagos State government for the relief materials.More photos below.
