 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower. TOURIST BOAT OPERATORS GET LASG RELIEF PACKAGE.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

    The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Thursday, donated some relief packages to the Association of Tourist Boat Operators and Water Transporters of Nigeria (ATBOWATON), Lagos State Chapter.
The food items were presented to the Association through the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA), the regulatory body for water transportation in the State.
The gesture according to the General Manager of LASWA, Mr. Damilola Emmanuel, was in continuation of the State Government's efforts to cushion the effects of the lockdown on different clusters of individuals and groups across Lagos metropolis.
He expressed the Governor's concern about the effect of the stay-at-home order on the businesses of members of the Association who are largely daily income earners.
"This gesture is to assist members of (ATBOWATON) and their families cope with the effects of COVID-19 pandemic lockdown on their businesses", the General Manager said.Responding, the National President of the Association, Mr. Gani Tarzan Balogun, who also donated cartons of sanitisers to the members to support the State government's gesture, expressed the profound appreciation of all members of the association to Lagos State government for the relief materials.More photos below.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours.
