 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. Following the encounter in Gorgi, Borno State and the resultant various degrees of injuries sustained by some troops of Theatre Command Operation LAFIYA DOLE on 22 March 2020, the COAS Lt Gen TY Buratai has today Sunday 5 Apr 20 visited the wounded at the 7 Division Medical Services and Hospital at Maimalari Cantonment Maiduguri, where he went round the Hospital and saw the injured personnel and wish them quick recovery.
Among the wounded, some have been evacuated to 44 Reference Hospital Kaduna for more specialist treatment/management.
It would be recalled that immediately the incident was reported, the COAS, on the 25 March 2020, instructed the Chief of Training and Operations (CTOP) Army Maj Gen EO Udo to move to the operational arena to see the wounded and convey his goodwill message to them.
In today's visit, Gen TY Buratai was accompanied by the CTOP Maj Gen EO Udo, Theatre Commander Operation LAFIYA DOLE Maj Gen Faruk Yahaya, Commander Engineer Corps Maj Gen JS Malu, Chief of Military Intelligence Maj Gen SA Adebayo and Acting Provost Marshal Army Brig Gen H Ahmed among other Senior Army Offrs.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
