 KADIRS Warns Residents Against Fake Revenue Collectors, Introduces E-Demand Notice As Sole Payment Authorization The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) has cautioned taxpayers and residents of Kaduna State against making revenue payments without first obtaining an official E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice), warning that fraudsters may exploit outdated payment processes to defraud the public. In a public announcement issued on Thursday, KADIRS said the move forms part of its ongoing efforts to automate revenue collection and enhance transparency across the state.  The agency disclosed that manual demand notices previously used for Local Government revenue collection have been phased out and are no longer recognized. According to KADIRS, the E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice) has officially replaced the former Local Government Harmonized Demand Notice and is now the only valid document for on-the-spot taxpayer assessment through the state's Central Billing System. The Anambra State Police Command wishes to inform the Public that following the directive of the Federal Government on *Commencement of Nationwide Curfew between 8:pm to 6:am with effect from Monday 4th May 2020*,the Command and other Security Agencies will enforce to the letter the presidential directive in the State.
In view of the foregoing,the Command sought the Cooperation of "Ndi Anambra" and residents alike to adhere strictly with the Federal Government directive.The Commissioner of Police *CP John B.Abang,fdc* equally warned Officers and Men of the Command to be civil to members of the public and also exercise restraint by avoiding use of extreme measures while enforcing the order.
The Commissioner of Police reassures good people of Anambra State that the Command under his watch will remain steadfast and committed in the duty of ensuring public safety and security.
