 BAMIDELE OLUMILUA UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND TECHNLOGY, IKERE-EKITI RE-A VIRAL VIDEO OF BULLYING OF A FEMALE STUDENT IN BOUESTI It has come to our attention that a disturbing incident involving some  students of the Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti (BOUESTI) has surfaced on social media platforms. A video showing one Miss Opemiposi Precious BOLAJI, an 18 year old 100L Mass Communication student beating her colleague identified as Miss Gloria AJAYI, a 100L Mass Communication student, in a private hostel outside the University campus has gone viral. In accordance with our institution's policies and extant regulations, the students who were captured in the viral video, appeared  before the Students' Disciplinary Committee at its emergency meeting held on Monday, May 6, 2024 for interrogations and appropriate recommendations, the report of which has been submitted to the University authorities. COVID-19: PDP Prays For Dokpesi, Others...Urges Nigerians on Health Vigilance
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) prays for the speedy recovery of all Nigerians battling the coronavirus disease, which is currently ravaging the world.
The party stated this while offering prayers for the founder of Daar Communication, (owners of AIT and Raypower fm), High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, and members of his family who had tested positive to the coronavirus and are now receiving care in an isolation center.
The PDP noted the commendable role of the media at this critical time, particularly in sensitizing Nigerians on health safety, social distancing and personal hygiene protocols in the overall effort to check the spread of the pandemic in our country.
The party urged compatriots, especially the sick as well as their families, not to give up on hope and urged all citizens to continue in prayers and in supporting one another at this perilous time.
It also called on Nigerians to redouble their health vigilance particularly in observing all health safety directives by our health authorities and the World Health Organization (WHO).
The PDP also commended our doctors, nurses as well as other health and essential service providers for their commitment, show of patriotism and labour of love for our nation and humanity in general despite the daunting challenges
Our party is optimistic that with the commitment of all Nigerians, our nation will soon defeat this pandemic.

 Punish my abusers within 48 hours or face lawsuit - Student bullied by her classmates threaten school authorities The bullied student of British Lead International School, Miss. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
