 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower. Edo Governorship Election: PDP Extends Sale of Nomination Form
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) extends the sale of nomination forms for the Edo state governorship election.
By this, the party extends the last day for the sale of nomination forms from the earlier announced date of Friday, May 29, 2020 to a new date of Monday, June 1, 2020.
Consequently, the submission of nomination forms for the Edo state governorship election is now extended from the earlier announced date of Tuesday, June 2, 2020 to Wednesday, June 3, 2020
All leaders, governorship aspirants, critical stakeholders and members of our great party in Edo state should be guided accordingly.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
