 In a first for Indian Railways, an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) has been successfully tested inside a train coach.  The trial took place on Tuesday inside an air-conditioned coach of the Panchavati Express, which runs daily between Manmad in Nashik and Mumbai. This ATM facility is part of a joint effort by the Bhusawal division of Indian Railways and the Bank of Maharashtra. The ATM worked smoothly during the journey, with only minor interruptions when the train passed through the no-network zone between Igatpuri and Kasara, an area known for its tunnels. Despite the short signal losses, the ATM continued to function well and served its purpose. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw shared a video of the ATM on social media, calling it the first of its kind in India. This unique idea came from a meeting under the Innovative and Non-Fare Revenue Ideas Scheme (INFRIS) by the Bhusawal division. EID-EL-FITRI : FRSC OGUN STATE COMMAND DEPLOYS 1,200 PERSONNEL.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

      The FRSC Ogun State Command has deployed 1,200 Regular Marshals for the Eid El Fitre Special Patrol Operations in Ogun State.

The personnel were added to complement the operatives daily enforcing the Presidential Directive on COVID - 19 Operations in Ogun State

To ensure a road traffic crash - free operations, a total of 37 patrol vehicles ; 05 Advanced Life Support Ambulances ; 04 high capacity Patrol  Motor Bikes and a Heavy Duty Tow Truck have been deployed during the period of the Eid El Fitre Special Patrol Operations which  commences from Friday 22 to Saturday 30 May ,2020.

The FRSC Operations would include continious collaboration with sister security agencies in implementing the COVID - 19 directives issued by  both the Federal and Ogun State Governments, especially as they relate to preventing overloading of vehicles with passengers and goods ; enforcing  physical distancing; compulsory use of face masks and restrictions of movements across Ogun State during the period of the curfew .

The special patrol operations is also priotising prompt attention and care to victims of road traffic crashes and immediate removal of road obstructions with  recoveries of valuables from scenes of road traffic crashes
handed over to their lawful owners .
The FRSC Sector Commander ,Ogun State Command, Clement Oladele, has enjoined all the operatives deployed to display high level of diligence and professionalism during and beyond the special operations.

The Sector Commander, while wishing Muslims faithfuls Happy Eid  El Fitre ,  remarked that motorists arrested for contraventions of traffic rules may be prosecuted by Special Mobile Courts.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
