 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event.     The Ecomomic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Kaduna Zonal Office on Thursday, May 7, 2020, took its enlightenment campaign to residents of Kaduna State and its environs, charging them to beware of online fraud.
According to the Zonal Head, Mailafia Yakubu who represented the Acting Chairman, Ibrahim Magu, during a Live Radio Programme on Kaduna State Media Corporation, KSMC, parents should closely monitor their children especially during the stay-at-home order following the COVID-19 pandemic.
His words; “If not closely monitored, some children will be negatively busy on the internet, which might lead to more harm than good after the lockdown period".More photos below.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
