 Nigeria's Defence Minister Summons Service Chiefs Amid Surge in Attacks on Military Bases Nigeria's Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (Rtd), has urgently summoned the nation's top military leaders to a high-level meeting at the Ministry of Defence headquarters in Abuja. The session addresses the escalating attacks targeting military installations, particularly in the North East region. The meeting includes key figures such as: - Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede - Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Waidi Shaibu - Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke - Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abass - Representatives from the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) The summons comes in response to recent deadly assaults by terrorists on military bases in the North East. Man Stabs His Brother To Death Over A Soft Drink Home - Crimefighters
       Sibling rivalry turns fatal as a 21-year-old man allegedly stabbed his younger brother, Henry, to death over a soft drink.
The incident happened at their home in Johnson Street, Alaba area of Lagos State.Chisom Eze kept a drink in the house before he went out. On getting back home, he realized that his younger brother had taken the drink.
Eze was enraged, he rushed to grab a knife and plunged it into his brother’s neck.
Immediately their sister saw what happened, she ran to the neighbors asking for help but nothing could be done to save Henry’s life.
Confirming the incident, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala Elkana said that Eze is currently in the Police custody, and an investigation is ongoing.
