 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. SITUATION REPORT FROM UMUMBO AND OMOR COMMUNITIES IN ANYAMELUM LGA OF ANAMBRA STATE.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

    It would be recalled that on the 5/5/2020 there was a communal Crisis between Umumbo and Omor Communities in Anyamelum LGA of Anambra State .As a result of the crisis,many residents of the area fled their homes to the neighbouring villages for safety.
However,following the restoration of peace in the affected Communities through the efforts of the Anambra State Government,Joint Security Forces,Vigilante groups,traditional rulers,Youth leaders and Ayamelum leaders of thought,the residents have finally returned back to their respective homes and normalcy restored.
Meanwhile,Situation is being monitored closely and further peace initiatives still ongoing to restore permanent peace in the affected areas.
Consequently,the Commissioner of Police *CP John B. Abang,fdc* thanked His Excellency Governor Willie Obiano,the Hon Speaker Anambra State House of Assembly,Honourable Uche Okafor, traditional Rulers and all the Stakeholders whose efforts helped immensely in restoring peace in the area and prevented the crisis from escalating.The CP further enjoined the citizens to eschew violence and always explore the legal avenues towards addressing their grievances in order to avert breakdown of law and order.He further reiterate his commitment towards enhancing safety and security for all Ndi Anambra and residents alike in the State.
