 INEC Strengthens the Conduct of Elections in Nigeria As Nigeria advances towards the 2027 general elections, the need for early planning, strategic coordination, and strong institutional cohesion has become critical to the delivery of free, fair, and credible polls. The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Professor Joash Amupitan, stated this at a strategic meeting with key stakeholders in Lagos. 90 COVID-19 LAGOS PATIENTS DISCHARGED TODAY.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE..

    Good people of Lagos,
I bring you great news from our isolation facilities. Today, 90 fully recovered COVID19Lagos patients; 30 females and 60 males, were discharged to join the society.
The patients; 28 from Onikan, 9 from Eti-Osa (LandMark), 10 from Agidingbi, 5 from Gbagada, 2 from First Cardiology, 10 from Lekki and 26 from Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Isolation Centres were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID19.
With this, the number of patients successfully managed and discharged from our Isolation facilities is now 1137.
As our front line health workers records successes in this battle against #COVID19, we urge citizens to adhere strictly to our public advisories and directives as this is the only way we can break the chain of transmission of the infection.
