 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. *FOUND CHILD WHO WAS EXPOSED TO MORAL DANGER*
On the 4/6/2020 one Favour Obu 'f' aged about 10 years from Okija in Anambra State was found wandering at Upper Iweka and brought to the State Police Command headquarters Awka by a good samaritan.
According to the found Child she is in primary three at ST Anthony School Okija and that her aunt which she stay with in Okija allegedly put her inside a car from Okija after which she was dropped in Onitsha .
Inview of the foregoing,you are kindly requested to dessiminate this massage through your medium to enable the biological parents who according to the child lives in Igbo-ukwu or her close relatives identify her.
Anyone with useful information about the found child should report at Okija Divisional Police Station or contact PPRO Anambra State Police Command through GSM no 08060970639, please.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
