 A Mother's Day Nightmare in Princeton, Illinois. A 3-year-old boy was struck by gunfire as police burst into a barricaded room, ending a frightening hostage situation. Multiple agencies responded to the Hummingbird Mobile Home Park in Princeton, Illinois, on Sunday, May 10th at 2:42 a.m. The initial call went out as a domestic disturbance but officers discovered much worse.  42-year-old, Anthony Rodriguez, had barricaded himself in a room armed with a knife. Anthony had taken several people as hostages, including Aurora Almanza and her 3-year-old son.  Multiple agencies were on the scene, including the Bureau County Sheriff's Office, Illinois State Police and  the Princeton Police Department.  Authorities attempted to negotiate but ultimately rushed the room when they heard screaming coming from inside.  Officials have reported that officers fired shots as they entered the room. FATAL MOTOR VEHICLES/TRICYCLES ACCIDENT CLAIMED SIX LIVES IN ONITSHA.[PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE

    Today being Tuesday 9/6/2020 at about 10:am a 20ft Container Truck with Registration No.UMA 259 XB loaded with cartons of Solar keys and bags of Rice driven by yet to be identified man loss control while in motion along Enugu/Onitsha Expressway by old defunct NITEL Onitsha.As a result,the truck fell down on Six tricycles and two Sienna buses.
Police operatives attached to CPS Onitsha quickly mobilised to the scene and rushed Twelve victims to Toronto hospital where the doctor confirmed Six persons dead on arrival while Six others are responding to treatment.
Meanwhile,corpses have been deposited at the mortuary for postmortem Examination and obstruction cleared to enable free flow of traffic.Case under Investigation to ascertain circumstances surrounding the incident.
Consequently,the Command urged the public whose relations were not seen to check at Toronto hospital Onitsha for possible identification of the victims please.
