 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. POLICE AVERT BREAKDOWN OF LAW AND ORDER IN OGWANOCHIA COMMUNITY IN OGBARU LGA OF ANAMBRA STATE FOLLOWING A KINGSHIP TUSSLE.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE

     *Arrested Sixteen suspects and Restore normalcy in the Area*
On the 25/6/2020 at about 2:am there was a report of clash between some group of youth allegedly loyal to HRH Igwe Oliver Nnaji,(Igwe Ogwuniocha)a riverine Community in Ogbaru LGA of Anambra State with another group of persons loyal to one Okwudili Oganah who allegedly crowned himself Igwe.As a result of the clash,one person was confirmed dead,five persons sustained injuries and some houses vandalised.
Following the report,the Command quickly mobilised and dispatched joint patrol teams led by the Area Commander Oraifite ACP Afolabi Wilfred to the Scene.Sixteen suspects have been arrested and investigation is ongoing to ascertain actual cause of the incident and extent of damage.
Meanwhile,Normalcy has been restored in the affected area and Joint Security teams comprising of the Police,Navy,Civil Defence and local vigilante are on ground patrolling the Community in order to forestall further breakdown of law and order.
Consequently,the Commissioner of Police *CP Jonh B.Abang,fdc* enjoined all the warring factions to refrain from further hostilities and explore legal avenues towards addressing their grievances rather than resorting to violence which could lead to loss of lives and wanton destruction of property in the State.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
