 NAF GETS FIRST-EVER SERVING PROFESSOR, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO R&D AND ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE In a landmark achievement for the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) and a major boost to its research and development (R&D) endeavours, the Governing Council of the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), has approved the appointment of Air Vice Marshal Osichinaka Chiedu Ubadike as Professor of Aerospace Engineering. This makes him the first-ever serving officer in the NAF to be conferred the rank of Professor. Air Vice Marshal Ubadike, an accomplished scholar and military professional, holds a PhD and Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and Aerospace Vehicle Design from the esteemed Cranfield University in the United Kingdom. He also possesses 3 other Masters degrees from Ahmadu Bello University and Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), with a First-Class Bachelor of Electrical Electronics Engineering degree from NDA. POLICE NAB A 24 YEARS OLD HABITUAL OFFENDER WHO ALLEGEDLY STOLE A TRICYCLE KEKE IN AWKA.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

    *Recover the tricycle in his possesion*
On the 20/6/2020 at about 6:30am,following a tip off Police operatives attached to the Command public complaint and Anti piracy unit (APPCAP) arrested one Chibuzor Nwachukwu Emmanuel ‘m' aged 24 years of Okpuno Okochi ime in Awka South LGA of Anambra State.
Suspect who was an habitual offender jumped over the fence and allegedly stole a tricycle KEKE belonging to one Okafor Chukwunonso Kelvin 'm' of ikolo house Umudioka inside his compound.
Meanwhile,suspect has confessed voluntarily and exhibit was recovered in his possession.Investigation is still ongoing after which suspect would be brought to book.
Consequently,the Command enjoined vehicle and tricycle owners to install tracking or other security devices in order to secure their property from the vehicles and tricycle stealing syndicates.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
