 Nigerian makes US Most Wanted List over $1m fraud A Nigerian, Onoriode Ezewu, has been named on the United States Department of Labour’s first-ever Most Wanted List over allegations of money laundering involving fraudulent unemployment benefit claims worth more than $1m. The department’s Office of Inspector General unveiled the list on its website on Wednesday, naming 16 fugitives wanted in cases involving alleged fraud, identity theft, money laundering, labour trafficking and other offences. According to the agency, the cases collectively involve more than $55m allegedly stolen from American taxpayers.     *Recover the tricycle in his possesion*
On the 20/6/2020 at about 6:30am,following a tip off Police operatives attached to the Command public complaint and Anti piracy unit (APPCAP) arrested one Chibuzor Nwachukwu Emmanuel ‘m' aged 24 years of Okpuno Okochi ime in Awka South LGA of Anambra State.
Suspect who was an habitual offender jumped over the fence and allegedly stole a tricycle KEKE belonging to one Okafor Chukwunonso Kelvin 'm' of ikolo house Umudioka inside his compound.
Meanwhile,suspect has confessed voluntarily and exhibit was recovered in his possession.Investigation is still ongoing after which suspect would be brought to book.
Consequently,the Command enjoined vehicle and tricycle owners to install tracking or other security devices in order to secure their property from the vehicles and tricycle stealing syndicates.
