 Over 25 million phones stolen in one year – FG The Crime Experience and Security Perception Survey report of the National Bureau of Statistics, a Federal Government agency, shows that Nigeria recorded 25.35 million phone theft cases between May 2023 and April 2024. According to the report, this was the most common type of crime within the period under review. The report read, “The number of crimes experienced by individuals in Nigeria was analysed over a period of time. The results show that theft of phones (25,354,417) was the most common crime experienced by individuals, followed by consumer fraud (12,107,210) and assault (8,453,258). However, hijacking of cars (333,349) was the least crime experienced by individuals within the reference period.” It also noted that most phone theft cases occurred either at home or in a public place, and about 90 per cent of such cases were reported to the police. The President shares the pain and sorrow of the family at the sudden death, and prays God’s comfort for the entire family, friends and members of Trinity House.
He recalls that Pastor Ighodalo is one person who faithfully prays for the country, and the government, noting that he sent him a personal letter of condolence when his former Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari, passed away in April.
“Please accept my condolence. May God give you the fortitude to bear the loss, and strengthen you at this trying time,” President Buhari says.

What a sad Sunday. What a year 2020 has been. Former Beauty queen, Ibidun Ajayi Ighodalo, has died. She was just 40.

The former Miss Lux died in her hotel in Port Harcourt, Rivers state today June 14. There are reports she died of Cardiac Arrest.
Ibidun is survived by her husband, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, the head pastor of Trinity House church, and their two adopted children, Keke and Zenan.
Until her death, she ran the popular events company, Elizabeth R and had been travelling around the country building COVID19 Isolation centres. She left Lagos for Port Harcourt on Friday June 12th for work.
And just last week, Ibidun paid a visit to her father's grave. Ibidun also helped many couples who were finding it difficult to have children through her foundation.
May her gentle, beautiful soul rest in peace, Amen..
