Yemen fighting pushes nearly 3,000 to Djibouti in less than a week: UN    Nearly 3,000 people have fled Yemen for Djibouti in less than a week as escalating violence drives growing displacement within the country and across its borders, the UN refugee agency said Friday. “Refugees continue to arrive by boat through Obock, Khor Angar, Moulhoule and Godoria after difficult journeys in small vessels,” UNHCR representative in Djibouti Sandrine Desamours told reporters in Geneva, Anadolu Agency reported. More than half of those crossing the Bab el-Mandeb Strait are women and children, while some families have been displaced for a second time after previously fleeing Yemen during the 2015 crisis and later returning. UNHCR is preparing for at least 10,000 new arrivals but warned that capacity is rapidly diminishing. The President shares the pain and sorrow of the family at the sudden death, and prays God’s comfort for the entire family, friends and members of Trinity House.
He recalls that Pastor Ighodalo is one person who faithfully prays for the country, and the government, noting that he sent him a personal letter of condolence when his former Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari, passed away in April.
“Please accept my condolence. May God give you the fortitude to bear the loss, and strengthen you at this trying time,” President Buhari says.

What a sad Sunday. What a year 2020 has been. Former Beauty queen, Ibidun Ajayi Ighodalo, has died. She was just 40.

The former Miss Lux died in her hotel in Port Harcourt, Rivers state today June 14. There are reports she died of Cardiac Arrest.
Ibidun is survived by her husband, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, the head pastor of Trinity House church, and their two adopted children, Keke and Zenan.
Until her death, she ran the popular events company, Elizabeth R and had been travelling around the country building COVID19 Isolation centres. She left Lagos for Port Harcourt on Friday June 12th for work.
And just last week, Ibidun paid a visit to her father's grave. Ibidun also helped many couples who were finding it difficult to have children through her foundation.
May her gentle, beautiful soul rest in peace, Amen..
