 UNACCEPTABLE – GOV. ALIA BLASTS MBALOM KILLINGS, ASSURES JUSTICE FOR VICTIMS  Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has condemned the latest attack on Mbalom community in Gwer East Local Government Area, describing it as barbaric and unacceptable, while assuring residents of intensified efforts to protect lives and property. In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, the governor reacted to reports of an assault by suspected armed herdsmen on the community, an incident that adds to recurring security concerns in parts of the state. Alia said the attack represents a direct threat to the peace and security of Benue, noting a disturbing pattern of what he described as calculated and selective assaults. On the 30/6/2020 at about 3:pm a good Samaritan brought to Umuchu Police Station a female child of about 9 years old who simply gave her name as Chinaza Jedeofor believed to have come from Oka village,Uga in Aguata LGA of Anambra State.She is 3 feet tall,dark in complexion and speaks only Igbo language fluently.
The girl could neither find her way back home nor state where she hails from.Instead, she keep on mentioning one Aunty Chioma repeatedly.She is presently in the protective care of the Umuchu Divisional Anti human trafficking unit pending identification of her parent or guardian.
Inview of the foregoing,you are kindly requested to dessiminate this massage through your medium to enable the biological parents or close relatives identify her.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
