 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. On the 30/6/2020 at about 3:pm a good Samaritan brought to Umuchu Police Station a female child of about 9 years old who simply gave her name as Chinaza Jedeofor believed to have come from Oka village,Uga in Aguata LGA of Anambra State.She is 3 feet tall,dark in complexion and speaks only Igbo language fluently.
The girl could neither find her way back home nor state where she hails from.Instead, she keep on mentioning one Aunty Chioma repeatedly.She is presently in the protective care of the Umuchu Divisional Anti human trafficking unit pending identification of her parent or guardian.
Inview of the foregoing,you are kindly requested to dessiminate this massage through your medium to enable the biological parents or close relatives identify her.
Anyone with useful information about the found child should report at Umuchu Divisional Police Station or contact PPRO Anambra State Police Command through GSM no 08060970639, please.
