 Texas woman charged with medical child abuse for falsifying toddler’s health and pushing unnecessary feeding tube surgeries A Texas woman has been charged with medical child abuse after allegedly falsifying her toddler’s medical history to pressure doctors into performing unnecessary procedures, including feeding tube surgeries, in what authorities are calling a “sickening” case. Kaitlyn Rose Laura, 31, faces charges of injury to a child and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officials said she deliberately misled medical staff about her 3-year-old son’s health to obtain a gastrostomy tube and later a gastrojejunostomy tube, despite no documented medical need. Investigators allege that hospital staff observed the boy eating normally while Laura claimed he refused all food. Covert surveillance confirmed the child was able to eat meals without difficulty, prompting authorities to stop tube feedings. NIGERIAN SOLDIER SUFFERING FROM DEPRESSION KILLS A SUBALTERN IN ...
      1. A trooper of the Nigerian Army serving in 202 Battalion of 21 Special Armoured Brigade Bama, Borno State, went beserk at about 1030 hours on the 29th of July 2020 and fired at an officer (a Subaltern) which led to his death.
2. The incident happened when the soldier approached the officer who was standing infront of the Unit's Headquarters making a phone call. The soldier has been arrested, is in custody undergoing investigation. General situation in the unit is calm.
3. The remains of the deceased officer has been evacuated to 7 Division Medical Services and Hospital.
4. Investigation into the case has since been instituted to determine the circumstances that led to the unfortunate incident.
5. The family of the deceased has already been contacted.The Nigerian Army sympathizes and condoles with the family at this trying moment, and pray to the Almighty God to repose the soul of the departed and grant his family and other loved ones the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
