 Republic of Congo holds presidential election, internet disruption reported Internet connectivity across the Republic of Congo was disrupted on Sunday as voters cast ballots in a presidential election, global internet watchdog NetBlocks said. Network data indicated a nation-scale disruption to internet access, the watchdog said on X. A similar near-total nationwide internet blackout was recorded during the country’s March 2021 presidential election, lasting about three days, according to NetBlocks. Polls opened at 6 am (0500GMT) in the country’s presidential election and will remain open until 6 pm (1700GMT). More than 2.6 million registered voters aged 18 and above are eligible to cast their ballots.     On the 12/7/2020 at about 8:pm Police operatives attached to Uli Division arrested one Chinonso Ugochukwu 'm' aged 28 years (aka NEPA) of Ndikokwu Umuaku Uli in Ihiala LGA of Anambra State.
Suspect lured a 5 years of girl into his room and allegedly defiled her.Scene was visited by police detectives and victim taken to the hospital for medical examination.
Meanwhile,the Commissioner of Police *CP John B.Abang,fdc* has directed that the case be transferred to the State Criminal investigation Department,Awka for discreet investigation after which suspect would be charged to court for prosecution please.
