 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service.      Nigerian lady crushed to death by a tanker in Ajah just weeks to her wedding, laid to rest


It was an emotional day for family members and the fiance of Nigerian lady, Immaculate Emife Okochu, yesterday morning August 17 as her body was laid to rest.

Immaculate was crushed to death by a tanker while on her way to work on Wednesday, August 12. Her wedding to her fiance, Lovely Etomi, was slated for October this year and they had already done their wedding introduction.

May her soul rest in peace, Amen.More photos below.
