 ‘I’ll turn off the mic’ — Remi Tinubu reins in Adeleke’s singing at Ooni’s anniversary First Lady Oluremi Tinubu cautioned Ademola Adeleke, the Osun state governor, for prolonged singing during his remarks at the 10th coronation anniversary celebration of Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife. The moment, captured in a now-viral video, occurred as the governor mounted the podium on Sunday to pay tribute to the monarch and to congratulate the Remi on her newly bestowed chieftaincy title, Yeye Asiwaju Gbogbo Ile Oodua. Rather than proceed immediately with his formal message, Adeleke, popularly known as the “Dancing Governor” for his spirited public appearances, burst into a short musical chant, drawing laughter from parts of the audience.     The Executive Governor of Zamfara State, Governor Bello Matawale has declared total faith in the ability and capacity of the nigerian army, to protect the territorial geography and people of Nigeria.


The Governor gave this assurance after he visited the Special Army Super Camp 4 Faskari in Katsina State, where he was a special guest of honour at the command post for 'Exercise Sahel Sanity.'


What I witnessed here is a testimony to the capacity of the leadership of @HQNigerianArmy to defend Nigeria’s territorial integrity and sovereignty." The digital savvy Governor, wrote on his Twitter handle.


Governor Bello Matawale was given the honour of inspecting a special guards of honour parade and he added that he is indeed delighted.


Governor Bello Matawalle Maradun wrote that he made the visit to the camp in Katsina states in orderoto motivate the Nigerian army troop, currently battling the Boko Haram insurgency in North East Nigeria.More photos below.
