 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. The Executive Governor of Zamfara State His Excellency Dr. Bello Matawalle (MON) has purchased over 200 computers for distribution to all the State Financial Directors to enable them to participate in the National IPPISS Program.
In his believe that education is a continuous process in the life of every human, and with the whole world going global in communication, teaching, learning, production, information management, industrialization and so on, the governor in his believe that the demands for these new ways of life will continue to dominate our social, official and domestic life affecting the way leaders, corporate executives, industry practitioners and government take decisions, is therefore re-positing the state to meet this global demand and process of communication and administration.
“There is a need to equip and acquire the necessary tools for today’s challenges,” said the governor in Gusau. “It is our desire to make our people compete favorably and meet this global challenge with the overriding objective being to assist them in their training, and make every one of us progressive.”

The Governor added that, “these computers will go a long way in putting the state ahead of all other state in terms of information gathering and distribution. The idea is to give our financial directors the opportunity to compete favorably with their counterparts in other states, especially the southern states where most of them have gone far in the trade.”


Governor Bello Matawalle (MON) also promised to reach out to other director’s in  different sectors of the state agencies with similar gestures to aid their professional training programs.
