 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. LAGOS COLLEGE OF NURSING DISCLAIMS ADVERT ON RECRUITMENT.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

 Lagos State School Of Nursing Igando Form 2020/2021

      The Lagos State College of Nursing, Midwifery and Public Health Nursing, Igando, has disclaimed an advert circulating on social media on the recruitment of Academic and Non-Academic Staff into the School of Nursing Complex, describing it as fake and untrue.

According to a statement issued on Tuesday by the management of the College, the recruitment advertisement did not emanate from the school but was made up by dubious minded individuals to entice and swindle unsuspecting members of the public.

Urging the general public to disregard the advert in its entirety and rely only on official communication channels of the College of Nursing, Midwifery and Public Health Nursing, Igando, the release implored citizens to call 08033061863 or 08037200006 for further clarification.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
