 Judge rejects Amy Winehouse's father’s lawsuit over sale of singer’s personal items  A London judge has ruled against Mitch Winehouse in a legal dispute over the sale of personal belongings once owned by his late daughter, singer Amy Winehouse. Mitch Winehouse, who serves as the administrator of the singer’s estate, brought the case against Naomi Parry and Catriona Gourlay, alleging they improperly profited from the sale of her memorabilia. He claimed the pair had no right to sell the items and did so without his knowledge, arguing they should not have benefited from the auctions. Amy Winehouse died in 2011 at the age of 27 from alcohol poisoning at her home in London, bringing an end to a career that made her one of the most recognizable voices of her generation. The dispute centered on roughly 150 personal items, including clothing, accessories, and stage pieces such as dresses, shoes, scarves, earrings, and handbags. MEET THE NOLLYWOOD ACTOR,WHO CHEATED DEATH AFTER STAYING THREE DAYS IN THE MORTUARY.{PHOTOS}.

    The story of Jerry Amilo’s survival after being reported to have been deposited in the mortuary for three days following a ghastly accident in which others died remained incredible to me until I read it from his interview in the media.
Jerry Amilo is a Nigerian actor, producer and musician. He is a native of Anambra state, (Enugu-Ukwu precisely)Nigeria. He is a bachelor degree holder in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nigeria Nsukka. He was the former manager of Christy Essien before moving into Nollywood.
According to an interview by modernghana.com, when Jerry Amilo was asked why he disappeared from Nollywood.
He said “I had a terrible accident and I was even confirmed dead. God brought me back to life. After staying in the hospital for two years I wanted to return to acting but people advised me to wait and allow the wounds to heal. It isn’t too long that I returned.
According to him, he was travelling to a venue for the reel awards. One of the front tyres of my car pulled off. The car somersaulted over and over. him and his lawyer were in the car when it somersaulted. Both of them were reported dead.
He was also asked “you stayed in the mortuary for three days. How did it happen?
He said” according to what they told me, after the accident, we were taken to the police station as dead bodies. The next day we were transferred to the mortuary as dead bodies.
So how did you come back to life?
He replied saying ” As God would have it there was no light in the mortuary for those three days. Sometimes, this skeletal power could be helpful. Had it been there was electricity, I doubt I would be alive. Anyway, I was told the attendant who came to clean the morgue discovered that my body kept jerking every five minutes. When the attendant noticed this for a while, he ran away thinking I was a spirit. Infact the whole hospital went haywire. Everybody ran.
I learnt that it was actually some young doctors on national youth service who braced up and said they were ready to see this ‘spirit’. When they got there they discovered that I was alive to the glory of God. He was taken to a hospital and treated. He stayed in that hospital for two years.
Jerry Amilo’s survival was so miraculous that one could say he has an assignment yet to be accomplished in life.
