 Today, as I celebrate my 61st birthday, my heart is incredibly full. For eight of these celebrations, I have had the rare privilege of serving as your Governor. It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to serve this extraordinary state and its people. The journey has been demanding, humbling and deeply rewarding. Leading a state as dynamic and energetic as Lagos is no small task. It has taught me more about resilience and patience than any other chapter in my life. I am filled with gratitude today, gratitude for life, for family, for health and for the enduring trust of Lagosians. Public service has its challenging days but the privilege of building a greater Lagos makes every single moment worth it. We have come a long way together yet the work never stops. As I celebrate today, my commitment to you remains as strong as ever. There is still more to do, more to build and more progress to achieve for everyone who calls this great state home. NAF INTENSIFIES AIR OFFENSIVE AGAINST TERRORISTS IN THE NORTH EAST AS AIR TASK FORCE LAUNCHES OPERATION HAIL STORM.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

       As the effort to rid the North East of the Country of all terrorist elements intensifies, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), through the Air Task Force of Operation LAFIYA DOLE, has launched subsidiary Operation HAIL STORM. The Operation, which commenced on 15 August 2020, is aimed at destroying identified Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) and Boko Haram Terrorists’ (BHTs’) targets in the Lake Chad and Sambisa Forest areas of Borno State in order to restore lasting peace to affected communities in the North East.

Through effective planning as well as the dedication of its pilots, engineers, technicians and support elements, the Air Task Force has so far conducted series of day and night attacks, destroying several terrorists’ targets and neutralizing scores of their fighters. The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, while in Maiduguri from 18 - 20 August 2020 on operational visit to assess the conduct of the operation, commended the NAF personnel for their commitment and bravery. He urged them to sustain the momentum of operations while working closely with the ground forces to make the area untenable for the insurgents so that law-abiding citizens can return to their homes/farms and pursue their legitimate aspirations without fear.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
