 “We Don’t Want Violent Politics In Kaduna,” Group Tells Political Parties, Urges Them to Call Supporters To Order The Kaduna Peace Ambassadors Forum has called on political parties in Kaduna State to caution their supporters and prevent further violence following recent clashes involving members of major political parties in the state. The group said Kaduna had enjoyed relative peace for a long period and should not return to an era of violent politics. In a statement, the forum expressed concern that political disagreements and clashes in the past had sometimes escalated into religious conflicts, with consequences for communities across the state. It therefore called on security agencies to take appropriate measures to identify and hold accountable those responsible for the recent clashes, while strengthening preventive measures to avoid a recurrence. NIGERIA POLICE INVITES LAGOS APPLICANTS FOR PHYSICAL SCREENING ON AUGUST 24.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

    Lagos State indigenes, who applied for employment into the Nigeria Police Force as Recruits, will undergo physical screening at the State Police Command, Ikeja on Monday, August 24.

A statement issued today by the Lagos State Ministry of Information and Strategy advised all shortlisted candidates to arrive at the screening by 8a.m.

All applicants, who have already been contacted via email by the Police, should report at the State Command with the following documents: National Identity Number (NIN); original and duplicate copies of credentials as well as a printout of their Application Profile Page.

The exercise will be conducted for two weeks - from Monday, August 24 to Monday, September 7, 2020.

While wishing all applicants luck during the interview, the statement urged all applicants to always respect the COVID-19 safety guidelines issued by the Federal and State governments.
