 PRESS RELEASE NAF SUSTAINS HIGH-TEMPO AIR OPERATIONS, DESTROYS TERRORIST HIDEOUTS IN SOUTHERN TUMBUNS The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), through the Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI, sustained operational pressure on terrorist elements with a precision air interdiction mission conducted on 24 April 2026 at about 1850 hours over Ali Sheriffti, a known terrorist enclave in the Southern Tumbuns. Acting on credible intelligence of terrorist activity, NAF air assets conducted a focused surveillance sweep, during which several insurgents were sighted moving along concealed tracks. The targets were trailed to structures hidden under dense foliage, confirming deliberate attempts at concealment. Following positive identification, the NAF executed a precise strike, engaging the structures with onboard munitions. NIGERIA POLICE INVITES LAGOS APPLICANTS FOR PHYSICAL SCREENING ON AUGUST 24.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

    Lagos State indigenes, who applied for employment into the Nigeria Police Force as Recruits, will undergo physical screening at the State Police Command, Ikeja on Monday, August 24.

A statement issued today by the Lagos State Ministry of Information and Strategy advised all shortlisted candidates to arrive at the screening by 8a.m.

All applicants, who have already been contacted via email by the Police, should report at the State Command with the following documents: National Identity Number (NIN); original and duplicate copies of credentials as well as a printout of their Application Profile Page.

The exercise will be conducted for two weeks - from Monday, August 24 to Monday, September 7, 2020.

While wishing all applicants luck during the interview, the statement urged all applicants to always respect the COVID-19 safety guidelines issued by the Federal and State governments.
