No good deed goes unpunished.  A Florida sea tow captain saved a man from a burning ship only to be shoved overboard and have his boat stolen. This shocking incident occurred near Marco Island on March 6th. On that date, a call went out regarding a burning boat. The captain of a sea tow boat heard the distress call and rushed to provide aid. He was able to quickly locate the burning boat and  discovered 40-year-old, Ryan Deiter, and his dog onboard the burning ship. Wasting no time, the captain of the sea tow boat was able to maneuver alongside the distressed boat and begin efforts to extricate Deiter and his dog from the doomed vessel.  Eventually, the sea tow captain was able to pull both Deiter and his dog onboard the tow boat. However, once Deiter was pulled to safety, he repaid a stranger's kindness with treachery.  Deiter shoved the captain from his own boat and fled the scene in the stolen boat, leaving the man who had just risked his own vessel and life...

The Imo State Police command yesterday arrested and paraded a band of hoodlums, armed with guns, matches and other dangerous weapons, masquerading as staff of the Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (ISOPADEC) on a violent protest in Owerri.

The Commissioner for Information , Hon. Declan Emelumba, who was alerted and briefed by the Police on the arrest, parade and findings spoke to journalists that people claiming to be staff of ISOPADEC could arm themselves with guns and matchets says it all, adding they were hired thugs by the opposition who were rattled by the public ovation that greeted the Governor’s successful commissioning of new roads in Owerri on Friday.

"The opposition is smarting from the irredeemable shame the Governments successes is rubbing on their face and they quickly thought of another protest to take the shine out of the increasingly unbeatable trajectory of Governor Uzodimma's successes story. But luck ran out of luck this time" Emelumba said.

Briefing Newsmen in Owerri yesterday the State police commissioner Issack Akinmoyede, said 15 of the hoodlums have been arrested and under more Investigations by the State CID. He also said dangerous weapons were recovered from them.

Akinmoyede said the hoodlums ambushed the Governor’s convoy and succeeded in attacking the cars at the rear and damaged the windscreens of some of them.

Emelumba commended the police Command and urged them to continue their job without fear nor favor.
