 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.      *Suspect admitted his offence and blames it on peer group influence*
On the 4/8/2020 following a tip off ,Police detectives attached to B' Division Awka arrested one Obimeze Maduabuchi Augustine 'm' aged 21years of Ofianta Village Nsugbe in Anambra East LGA but resides at Ejeagwu Estate Awka.
2. Suspect allegedly had carnal knowledge against the order of nature with two Small boys of 5 and 7 years on different occasions.
3. Suspect has equally made a voluntary confessional statement to the police and blamed his act on peer group influence.
4. Meanwhile,scene of crime was visited by Police detectives and the two victims ,all boys were taken to the hospital for medical examination.
5. Consequently,the Commissioner of Police *CP John B. Abang,fdc* has ordered for immediate transfer of the case to the State Criminal investigation Department(CID)for discreet investigation after which suspect would be charged to Court for prosecution,please.
