Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court.       Unilever Nigeria PLC, makers of Pears baby products, has donated packs of baby powder to the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), Lagos State University Teaching Hospital Chapter, as parts of its contribution to the growth and development of babies in Nigeria.
Receiving the donated items on behalf of the hospital management, the Director of Clinical Services and Training, Dr. Ibrahim Mustafa, LASUTH, thanked the representatives of the organisation for their generosity, especially during this difficult period.
He expressed the gratitude of the hospital management and the LASUTH Chapter of the Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives for the donation, calling on other well-meaning corporate bodies and organisations to emulate such humanitarian gesture and support laudable initiatives.
Helen Ojei, who led the team that delivered the items on behalf of Unilever Nigeria PLC to the hospital management, stated that the gesture was a demonstration of the brand’s vision of providing mothers and babies with quality products that will help them in caring for their skin and it healthy and smooth always.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
