  Oshiomhole Convinced Us To Make Obaseki Governor – Philip Shaibu Philip Shaibu, the former Deputy Governor of Edo State, has disclosed that his choice to support his former boss, Godwin Obaseki, stemmed from his respect for Adams Oshiomhole, the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). According to Naija News, Shaibu shared his doubts about Obaseki during an interview on Channels Television’s Political Paradigm program on Tuesday. Shaibu admitted that he lacked confidence in Obaseki's leadership even before they took office on November 12, 2016. He explained that despite his initial hesitations, he ultimately backed Obaseki out of respect and based on the assurances provided by Oshiomhole. He stated, “Obaseki is not a politician. ACCIDENT VICTIM DISAPPEARS AFTER BEING RUSHED TO A HOSPITAL BY AN UNKNOWN VOLUNTEER.{PHOTOS}.

      The family of an accident victim are asking for help in locating him after he was reportedly driven to the hospital by an unknown man who volunteered to help with his bus.

Daniel Igwe was involved in a road accident on Sunday 6th September 2020 at about 7:00pm along Ajah, Lekki Expressway and no one has been able to locate him since then.
According to eye witnesses, Daniel was knocked down by a lady who refused to stop. He was subsequently driven to a nearby hospital where he was given first aid treatment and adviced to go to the general hospital for full treatment. An unknown man agreed to convey Daniel in his bus and took him away. Nothing has been heard from the man who reportedly took him to the hospital. Neither has the family been able to locate Daniel after searching most of the general hospitals in Lagos.
Igwe's family is soliciting for help in locating him.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
