 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. ILORIN COURT TO SENTENCE INTERNET FRAUD SUSPECT OCT. 6.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

A Kwara State High Court sitting in Ilorin today reserved sentencing of an internet fraud suspects who pleaded guilty to four-counts of fraud brought against them by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, till October 6, 2020.
Itanola Abdulsamad a 21-year-old student, was docked before Justice Sikiru Oyinloye on a four-count charge, bordering on cheating by impersonation, attempt to cheat and internet fraud.
Count two of the charge reads: "That you, Itanola Abdulsamad, Popoola Afolami (at large) and Olayeni Yemi (at large) sometime between 2018 and 2019, at Ilorin within the judicial division of the Kwara State High Court fraudulently induced several unsuspecting foreigners vide the internet to deliver to you digital currency from which you benefited $950 (nine hundred and fifty United States Dollars) and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 321 of the Penal Code and punishable under Section 324 of the same Penal Code "
When the charges were read, the defendant pleaded guilty to all four counts.
Justice Oyinloye, however, fixed October 6, 2020 for the Commission to review the facts of the case and sentencing of the defendant.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
