 New Head of Service Urges Anambra Civil Servants to Embrace Efficiency and Accountability ‎ ‎By Chizoba Njaka  ‎ ‎The newly appointed Head of Service in Anambra State, Ngozi Anuli Iwouno, has called on civil servants to shift towards efficiency and accountability, promising improvements in welfare.  ‎ ‎Addressing staff at the Jerome Udoji Secretariat Complex in Awka, Iwouno outlined her vision for a professional, merit-based, and citizen-centered service that aligns with Governor Chukwuma Soludo's goals. ‎ ‎Iwouno emphasized that her mission is not just a statement, but a call to action, demanding sincerity and commitment from all workers. She expressed disappointment with the recent governor's visit, which revealed empty offices during working hours, and stressed that absenteeism, lateness, and poor attitudes are unacceptable. ‎ ‎The Head of Service pledged to improve welfare, including fixing ministry vehicles, and mandated that Wednesday 1st April , 2026 will be clean...

POLICE BURST ANOTHER CHILD STEALING SYNDICATE IN ANAMBRA STATE.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

*Arrested two suspects and rescued the twins suspected to have been stolen*
On the 21/9/2020 at about 6:pm, following credible intelligence,police operatives attached to the Command Special Anti-cult unit(SPACS)arrested one Chijioke Chukwulota 'm' aged 31years of Imo State but resides at Uruagu village,Nnewi .
The Suspect lured his ex-girl friend whom he allegedly impregnated and stole the children(twins baby girls) aged about two months on the 4/8/2020 after she gave birth to them through a cesarean section and sold same children to one Tina Ibeato 'f' aged 31years of Imo State at the rate of one hundred and fifty thousand(#150,000)Naira only.
Meanwhile,both the two suspects have been arrested and the children recovered in good condition.Investigation is ongoing after which the suspects would be brought to book.

 How Suspected Phone Snatchers Killed Army Lieutenant In Kaduna  An army officer identified as Lieutenant IM Abubakar has reportedly been hacked to death by a gang that specialises in phone snatching and other crimes. The deceased was killed in the Unguwan Sarki area of Kaduna metropolis during the week. A popular counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad, Zagazola Makama disclosed this in a Twitter post. Makama described Abubakar as a talented officer.  He said, “Lt IM Abubakar(Isa) A Young Talented Army Officer Was Killed By Phone Snatchers on His Way Home In Unguwan Sarki, Kaduna. May his soul rest in peace.”
