 There was no evidence that he slept with the girl” – Yomi Fabiyi gives update on Baba Ijesha’s case Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has given an update on embattled Yoruba actor Baba Ijesha’s case. Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court. *Arrested two suspects and rescued the twins suspected to have been stolen*
On the 21/9/2020 at about 6:pm, following credible intelligence,police operatives attached to the Command Special Anti-cult unit(SPACS)arrested one Chijioke Chukwulota 'm' aged 31years of Imo State but resides at Uruagu village,Nnewi .
The Suspect lured his ex-girl friend whom he allegedly impregnated and stole the children(twins baby girls) aged about two months on the 4/8/2020 after she gave birth to them through a cesarean section and sold same children to one Tina Ibeato 'f' aged 31years of Imo State at the rate of one hundred and fifty thousand(#150,000)Naira only.
Meanwhile,both the two suspects have been arrested and the children recovered in good condition.Investigation is ongoing after which the suspects would be brought to book.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
