 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. IMSU probes lecturer arrested naked in sex-for-grade scandal Imo State University, Owerri (IMSU) has begun probing a sex-for-grade incident involving the head of department of Biochemistry, Prof. Emmanuel Agumuo. The HoD was arrested naked in a video which has since gone viral while attempting to have sex with one of his students. “The female student, who is about getting married, had issues with her result after her mates had graduated. She approached her head of the department, but he demanded N150,000 bribe, which she paid. The professor also demanded sex from her,” a source said. “The professor rejected the girl’s plea that she was getting married soon. The girl then played along with the aid of security men. The don was arrested naked in a room with the girl. Of course, the nude video is all over the Internet.”

The university said a committee had been set up to investigate the incident. IMSU spokesperson Ralph Obinjoku said on Wednesday: “We just rose from an expanded management meeting and I want to tell you that a committee has been set up to investigate the authenticity or otherwise of the nude video which had one of our lecturers.” He assured that the university was treating the incident seriously, adding that IMSU does not tolerate sex-for-grades.One More photo below.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
