 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. AMAZING TRANSFORMATION OF 5-YEAR OLD NIGERIAN GIRL WHO BEAT CANCER OF THE BLOOD.{PHOTOS}.

A Nigerian journalist, Chigozie Effe shared photos showing the amazing transformation of a of 5-year-old girl, Adanna Ifewulu from Anambra State, who beat cancer of the blood.
Taking to Facebook on October 7, Mr Effe shared a photo of him holding Adanna during her battle with cancer in 2018 and in 2020 after her recovery, thanking well meaning Nigerians who contributed huge sums of money for her treatment
"A note of gratitude to all those who supported Little Adana Ifewulu to beat cancer of the blood, may God bless you richly," he wrote.
"Recall that her story was shared on this platform and huge sums of money was raised for her,"
"The little girl, a native of Anambra state now five years old is hale and hearty at the moment. God has taken charge of her case,
"Adanna is indeed a product of grace. For us at thechigoziiebridge, it's a season of testimonies."

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
