 Boko Haram: Information minister naive, says Zulum Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State has reacted to a news report which suggested that Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris, dismissed the recent concerns he raised regarding the security situation in the state. Zulum had said  Boko Haram has renewed its attacks and kidnappings in the state with little pushback from security forces, suggesting that authorities in the region are losing ground to the insurgents. Zulum stated this during a meeting with security forces in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, on Tuesday. Daily Trust reports that Boko Haram militants and its offshoot, the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), have mainly operated in the northeast of Nigeria, attacking security forces and civilians, and killing and displacing tens of thousands of people. NIGERIAN ARMY ARRESTED A SOLDIER FOR CYBER-CRIMES.{PHOTO}.

 



Nigerian Army says it has arrested the soldier who recorded a video begging his colleagues not to shoot at #EndSARS protesters..They wrote ''The hooded soldier hiding behind the mask to commit cybercrimes has been apprehended in the ongoing cyber operations in support of Crocodile Smile VI.Be rest assured cyber criminals have no hiding place''.
The soldier now identified as Lance Corporal Harrison Friday, wore a hood in a video he made in which he begged his colleagues not to shoot at end SARS protesters even if they were sent to do so.
In a post shared on its Twitter handle this morning October 21, the Nigerian Army says Harrison carried out 'cybercrime' and that he has now been arrested..One more photo below.
