THE FG HAS PROHIBITED MILITARY PERSONNEL FROM ENGAGING IN ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIPS WITH THEIR SUBORDINATES OR THE SPOUSES OF THEIR SUBORDINATES. (PHOTO).

 The Federal Government has prohibited military personnel from engaging in romantic relationships with their subordinates or the spouses of their subordinates.   Additionally, Nigerian military members are strictly forbidden from participating in homosexuality, lesbianism, bestiality, cross-dressing, and other activities deemed incompatible with the values of the armed forces.   They are also barred from body piercing, tattooing, disorderly behavior, intoxication on or off duty, and any actions that could bring public disgrace.   These rules are outlined in Section 26 of the updated “Harmonised Armed Forces Terms and Conditions of Service”, signed by President Bola Tinubu on December 16, 2024.   According to the section:   - Officers must not engage in activities related to the LGBTQIA2S+ community or cross-dressing.   - Body piercings, tattoos, drunkenness, and public brawls are prohibited.   - Relationships wit...

PRESS RELEASE
Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology hereby announces to the general public that all primary, secondary schools and Government Science and Technical Colleges in the State should proceed on mid-term holiday for 1st term 2020/2021 academic session on Thursday, 29th and Friday 30th October, 2020.
Open day for both primary and secondary schools will hold on Wednesday, 28th October, 2020.
Schools are to resume for academic activities on Monday, 2nd November, 2020.
Parents and guardians are enjoined to take proper care of their wards during this holiday.
